Dr David B. Stevens MBE will not be involved with or responsible for the organisation of TT Course medical services after the end of 2015. He has been a TT doctor since 1977 and for the last 30 years, Medical Director for Isle of Man Motorsport Medical Services ........ time for a rest !!
The Isle of Man Department of Economic Development have signed a contract with Manx Roadracing Medical Services to take over from 2016 headed up by Dr. Gruff Evans, Dr. Gareth Davies and Dr. Sally Simmons. They will provide all medical services for the TT, Festival of Motorcycling and Billown events for the next 3 years.
They will work with individuals doctors or paramedics, as well as with partner organisations such as Hogg Motorsport, Red Cross, St. John Ambulance and the Rob Vine Fund in order to ensure the high standards, set during the last 30+ years, are continued. Manx Roadracing Medical Services will be receiving administrative support from the Rob Vine Fund, specifically from Stuart Greaves, the Charity's administrator, who many of you will know. Stuart can be contacted at the Hoggery 01624 628999 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
